The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Dammam will inaugurate the fourth International Video Art Forum on Tuesday. 49 works of art from twenty-three countries will be exhibited as part of the new edition’s concept – “Contemplate Light … Move Towards Imagination.”
The five-day forum will include lectures and seminars on video art along with highlighting its achievements in the region. The event is set to also witness a book launch.
The 49 artworks for this year’s exhibition were selected from a pool of 128 applications sent in from 34 countries. The screening committee included artists, critics, and specialists in the field, said Yousef Al-Harbi.
